PBSSD Recruitment 2024

The PBSSD Department of Technical Education, Training, and Skill Development has released an advertisement for contractual employment to the post various posts such as 

• District Project Manager (DPM),
• Project Assistant-cum-Data Entry Operator (PADEO)
• Sub-Divisional Project Manager (SDPM),
• and Block Level Staff at district level under the Utkarsh Bangla Scheme.

Interested Candidates can apply for the posts from 4 March 2024. There is no application fee for the PBSSD recruitment 2024. 

The candidates will be selected based on their performance in the written examination, practical test, and the final interview. The selected candidates will be appointed for the post on a contractual basis for one year of duration.

Eligibility for the PBSSD Recruitment 2024

The PBSSD Department has set the following eligibility criteria for the candidates to apply for the above posts:

• All the permanent residents of West Bengal state are eligible.
• The applicant’s age limit is 23 to 44 years as of 1 March 2024. The upper age limit relaxation will be given to the SC/ ST/ OBC candidates as per the guidelines of the government.

Educational Qualifications for each post are as follows:

For DPM designations:

• The applicant must be a post-graduate and have a minimum experience of 2 years.
• The applicant must be familiar with the working of MS Office and well-acquainted with MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
• He should be good at communicating in Bengali and English and well-versed in writing both languages.

For SDPM Designation:

• The applicant must be a post-graduate and have a minimum experience of 1 year.
• All other qualifications are similar to the above DPM educational qualifications.

For BLS posts:

• The applicant should be a graduate with a certificate in Computer Applications. 
• The applicant should be flexible to travel.
• The applicant must have a good writing/ reading hold of Bengali and local language. 
• The applicant must have the ability to support the Training providers at the grassroots level.

For PADEO posts:

• The applicant must be a BCA graduate or postgraduate of MCA.
• The applicant must be familiar with the working of MS Office and well-acquainted with MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
• The applicant must have a good writing/ reading hold of Bengali and English language.
• The applicants must have 30 words per minute typing speed.
