The Punjab School Education Board conducts the secondary and senior secondary examinations. The Board has conducted the Class 10 examinations from 13 February 2024 to 5 March 2024.
According to reports, this year around 2,97,048 students have taken the Class 10 examination across 3808 exam centers in Punjab.
Last year, the board conducted the Class 10 examination during March 2023 and April 2023 and declared the results on 26 May 2023. Generally, the board takes a month to evaluate and check the answer sheets of students and finally declare the results.
According to past trends, students waiting for the Class 10 results can expect PSEB to declare the 2024 Class 10 results in the final week of April 2024.

The PSEB board has made the result-checking experience convenient and easy for the students. The students and parents can check the PSEB Class 10 results by themselves in the following ways:

Steps to check PSEB Class 10th Result 2024 Online
The students can follow the following steps to check the PSEB Class 10 results on the official website of PSEB:
- Go to the official website of PSEB at https://pseb.ac.in/
- Now, navigate to the “Result” tab of the website and click on that to see the Class 10 Result link.
- Once you find the Class 10 result link, click on that and enter your Roll number and other required details.
- After you submit your request on the portal, your PSEB class 10 scorecard will appear on your screen.
- Remember to save or download the scorecard as it will be the proof of you passing the Class 10 examinations, till you receive your original mark sheet from the board.
Generally, the board will send your original mark sheets to your school in a month, so make sure you collect your mark sheet timely. The school will inform you about the mark sheet, in case you have been admitted to another school.
Steps to check the PSEB Class 10th Result 2024 through SMS
Students can check the results through SMS when they can’t access the internet. The SMS facility comes in handy when the website servers get busy due to the heavy traffic. You can follow the below steps to check the PSEB Class 10 results through the SMS facility:
- First, open the messaging app on your phone.
- Now, type a text message in the mentioned format- PB10 RollNumber. Make sure you type the message in the same format to receive your PSEB class 10 results.
- Next, send the message to the SMS facility number of PSEB, which is 5676750.
- Next, the board will revert to you with your PSEB Class 10 results.
- You can take a screenshot of the result or download your scorecard later from the PSEB website when you can access the website.
Students can apply for the revaluation or rechecking of their answer sheets if they are unsatisfied with the results through the PSEB website in July 2024 with applicable charges.
Passing Criteria PSEB Class 10 2024 examinations
The passing criteria for the PSEB Class 10 examinations are as follows:
- Students need to acquire a minimum of 3% marks in each subject of Class 10.
- Students are required to score at least 20% marks in theory, as well as practical examinations to pass such subjects.
- The overall score of theory and practicals should be at least 33% to pass such a subject.
Students who fail to pass the Class 10 examinations would reappear for the examinations in supplementary examinations that would be held according to the further notice of the board.
