The Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) are anticipated to release the notification for the recruitment of Assistant Station Masters (ASM) in early 2024. 2). On the respective RRB’s website, an option related to the ‘Recruitment of Assistant Station Masters (ASM) 2024’ will be visible, hit on it and go to the new webpage. 

3). Now, find an option that reads ‘Apply Online’ and tap on it to get redirected to another webpage, click on it to access the online application form.

4). Here, you will be asked to enter basic and educational qualification details, fill in details correctly and hit the Next button.

5). On the next webpage, you have to enter your Basic and Educational Qualification details, upload documents with photograph and signature and pay a fee to submit an application.

RRB ASM Selection Process 2024

Computer-Based Test (CBT) and Computer-Based Aptitude Test (CBAT) are two stages of the selection process for the post of Assistant Station Master in India Railways. Candidates who apply will be able to participate in the first stage and then after qualifying CBT, they will be called for the second stage of the selection process, which is CBAT.

Educational Qualification	An individual who is interested in applying for the post of Assistant Station Master, he or she must have pursued a Bachelor’s degree from a University Grant Commission recognised institution in any stream such as Science, Commerce or Arts.
Age Limit	The candidate’s age must be between 18 and 32 years, there will be upper age relaxation for 3 and 5 years for Other Backward Class and Scheduled Caste or Tribes, respectively.

RRB ASM Application Fee 2024

The application fee for the RRB ASM varies based on different categories. For General candidates, the fee is ₹500/-, while SC/ST/PH and Ex-servicemen are required to pay ₹250/-. Similarly, individuals belonging to Economically Backward Classes (EWS) and Minority categories also have a reduced fee of ₹250/-.

Note: After appearing in the Computer-Based Test (CBT), aspirants will get the refund of ₹450, and reserved category will get full refund.
