SHRESHTA NETS Application Form 2024, Exam Date, Eligibility Criteria

Application for SHRESHTA NETS 2024 was made available by the National Testing Agency on March 12, 2024. The online way of application submission is acceptable. Application Form must be submitted by April 4, 2024.

SHRESHTA NETS Application Form 2024

The National Testing Agency released the SHRESHTA NETS 2024 application form on their website at https://exams.nta.ac.in/ on March 12, 2024. A copy of the NETS information bulletin 2024 may be found on the organization’s official website. 

In the online option, candidates can make modifications to the application form by using the correction window. On May 11, 2024, the SHRESHTA NETS 2024 will be administered in an offline format by the National Testing Agency.

SHRESHTA 2024 Exam Date

Meritorious SC boys and girls may now apply for spots at the top private residential schools in the nation under a new programme called SHRESHTA (Scheme for Residential Education for Students in High Schools in Targeted Areas), which was launched by the Indian government. 

Under this programme, around 3,000 children are anticipated to be chosen each year for admission to Classes 9 and 11.

The rectification window for SHRESHTA NETS applications will be available from April 6, 2024, to April 8, 2024 (until 5 p.m.). Applicants may use the online correction window to make changes to the application form.

How to fill out the SHRESHTA NETS Registration Form 2024?

In order to complete the application form for SHRESHTA NETS 2024, there are three procedures involved. Below you can find detailed instructions for each stage.

Step 1: SHRESHTA Registration

• SHRESHTA NETS 2024 may be found on the official website, which can be found at shreshta.ntaonline.in.
• From the menu, choose “New Candidate Register Here” to proceed.
• Please read all of the instructions that are shown on the page.
• You may advance by clicking the “Click here to proceed” button and accepting the “I have downloaded” check box.
• Fill out all of the requested information without making any mistakes, and upload the necessary documents. Make a password, then input the captcha, and finally, click the box that says “submit.”
• Following the conclusion of the registration process, an application number will be given to the mobile number and email address that you have registered with.

Step 2: Filling up SHRESHTA Application Form 2024

• Simply click on the “Complete Application Form” button to finish filling out the application form.
• Complete all of the required fields on the application form.

Step 3: Documents Uploading

• Simply click the “Submit” button once you have uploaded all of the necessary papers.
• On the screen, you will see a complete application form containing all the information you have input.
• Save the document, take a printout of it, and then send it to the Cadre Controlling Authority or Parent Organisation of the student so that it may be sent, together with the relevant certificates and documentation, to the National Transportation Authority (NTA).

Documents required for SHRESHTA NETS 2024 Application form

Before beginning the process of filling out the application form for the Shrestha NETS 2024, the students should be prepared with the list of papers.

• Image File (JPG) (between 10 and 200 kilobytes in size)
• Signature Scan (JPG, 4–30 kb attachment size)
• Certified copy of caste or category (PDF format, 50 kb to 300 kb)
• Income certificate scan (PDF, 50 kb to 300 kb file size)
• Two email addresses: one to use while signing up and another to use in case of emergency.
• Photo ID like an Aadhaar card / Passport / Ration Card with photograph / School ID

SHRESHTA NETS 2024 Eligibility Criteria

The only eligible pupils are those who fall under the SC category and whose parents earn up to Rs. 2.5 lac annually. Eighth and tenth graders shall be studying throughout the current school year (2023–24).

• Class 9: 12 to 16 years – April 01, 2008 to March 31, 2012
• Class 11: 14 to 18 years – April 01, 2006 to March 31, 2010

SHRESHTA NETS 2024 Syllabus & Exam Pattern

Mathematics, Science, Social Science, and General Knowledge/Awareness are included in the SHRESHTA NETS 2024 curriculum.

Since NETS is based on the CBSE/NCERT curriculum, students who want to take the SHRESHTA NETS test in 2024 should read NCERT literature. Further details on the SHRESHTA NETS 2024 Exam Pattern are available to students.

• Exam time: 2 pm to 5 pm
• Exam duration: 180 minutes (3 hours)
• Medium of exam: Hindi and English

There are five disciplines in the SHRESHTA NETS 2024: Mathematics, Science, Social Science, and General Awareness/Knowledge. There are 100 questions in total, with four marks assigned to each question.
