UGEAC 2024 Application Form – Eligibility Criteria, Counselling Fee, Apply 

The Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (BCECEB) has released the notification of the UGEAC 2024 application form. Candidates wishing to enroll in Bihar Government Colleges of Engineering can read the article to know eligibility, application process, and other relevant details for the application. 

UGEAC 2024 Application Form

The BCECEB invites online applications from eligible candidates for the Under Graduate Engineering Admission Counseling (UGEAC) 2024. The eligible candidates will get admission to the first-year B.Tech/ B.E Courses in various Government Colleges in Bihar. 

The BCECEB has provided one route for the candidates to apply for the admission counseling of various government colleges through UGEAC and simplified the admission process for the students.

Candidates who wish to take part in admission counseling must register for the UGEAC online. The online registration for the UGEAC 2024 will begin from 15 May 2024 to 10 June 2024. The correction window of the application form will be open from 12 June 2024 till 13 June 2024.

The selection list or merit list of the applications for UGEAC 2024 selections is based on the performance of JEE (Main) 2024. According to the notification, the merit list will be published by the BCECEB on 15 June 2024.

After the merit list, the shortlisted applicants will be called for admission counseling and document verification on the TBA date.

Eligibility Criteria for the UGEAC 2024 Application Form

Candidates can check their eligibility to apply for the UGEAC 2024 Application from the below eligibility criteria:

Citizenship:

• Candidate must be an Indian citizen or resident of Bihar.

Age Limit:

• There is no age restriction for the UGEAC application. 

Educational Qualification:

• Candidates must have cleared the Class 12th examinations with at least 50% marks (45% marks for reserved category) with the science stream with Physics & Mathematics as mandatory subjects.
• Candidates appeared for the 2024 JEE (MAIN) (Paper I)and got a valid score.

Documents Required for the UGEAC 2024 Registration

Eligible candidates willing to apply for the 2024 UGEAC would need the following documents in hand for registration:

• JEE (MAIN) 2024 application number
• Scanned copy of passport-size photograph and signature.
• Aadhar Card 
• Caste Certificate (if applicable)
• Valid mobile number
• Debit/ Credit Card or Net banking or UPI address for fee payment

Candidates would need the following original documents at the time of counseling/ document verification/ seat allotment on the scheduled date:

• JEE (MAIN) 2024 Admit Card and Scorecard
• Class 10th and 12th mark sheets and passing certificate
• Residential Certificate
• Caste certificate
• Printed UGEAC 2024 Application form 
• Six copies of passport-size photograph
• Aadhar Card
• Any other document required for admission to Engineering colleges.

Counseling Fee for the UGEAC 2024 Application Form

Candidates will need to pay the following counseling fee during the online application of UGEAC 2024 according to their category:

The candidates can pay the counseling fee through online mode via Net banking, UPI, and Credit/ Debit cards only. 

Application Process for the UGEAC 2024 

Candidates can register for the UGEAC 2024 from 15 May 2024, you can

follow the below steps to complete your application process:

• Go to the official website of BCECEB UGEAC mentioned above.
• Next, start with the registration on the portal, enter your JEE (MAIN) 2024 Application number, and click on verify.
• Next, enter your DOB and verify it. After the verification, start entering your mobile number and Email ID for verification and to receive the login credentials. 
• Next, log in to the portal with the email ID and password and enter & submit your personal information. 
• Next, upload the scanned copy of the signature and passport-size photo on the portal.
• Now, enter the education qualification details and submit all the details. 
• Next, review your application, check all the information is correct, and click on the final save & Continue button.
• Next, pay the counseling fee through your preferred payment gateway to complete the application process for UGEAC 2024. 
• After the successful transaction, you will receive a confirmation message from the authority on your registered mobile number/ Email ID, make sure you download the (Part A & Part B) submitted application form for the counseling day. 

The candidates must ensure all the data is correct & valid so they would not face any problems during document verification. The respective authority will analyze the data and prepare the merit list of the shortlisted candidates.
