Eligibility criteria to be appointed as Assistant Professor on maximum tenure of 11 months in the UTU, Dehradun’s campus for various streams is available below.

UTU Assistant Professor Selection Process 2024

The selection process for recruitment of Assistant Professor in various campuses of UTU, Dehradun consists of the following stages.

1. Stage 1: Shortlisting
   • Criteria: Candidates’ academic qualifications are evaluated based on their scores in Graduation, Post-Graduation, M.Phil., Ph.D., NET/JRF, and research publications.
   • Score Calculation: Scores are assigned according to predefined criteria (see Table 2).
   • Additional Test: A written test may be conducted to assess subject knowledge (if held).
2. Stage 2: Final Selection
   • Teaching Skills Assessment: Candidates present their teaching skills, including online teaching abilities if relevant (20 marks).
   • Interview: Face-to-face interview assessing overall suitability for the role (10 marks).
