The Northern Railway recruitment cell has released the notification for Northern Railway Group D recruitment 2024 dated 15 April 2024. 

The railway recruitment cell will recruit eligible sportspersons against the Sports quota for the 38 vacancies at Level 1 Pay Matrix as the 7th Pay commission.

Northern Railway Group D Eligibility Criteria 2024  

Interested candidates can check their eligibility to apply for the Northern Railway Group D Recruitment 2024 from the following eligibility criteria: 

Age Limit:

• The applicant should come from the 18-25 years of age bracket. 
• The age relaxation is applicable according to the government guidelines. 

Educational Qualification:

• The applicant should at least pass the class the 10th or equivalent course. 
• Applicants of higher education can also apply for the Group D posts.  

Sports Qualification:

The applicant must meet any of the following Sports requirements to apply for the Northern Railway Group D Recruitment 2024:

• The applicant must have represented the country in any Category C Events or Championships.
• The applicant must have a secure third position in the Senior category in the Federation Cup Championships.
• The applicant who has represented his/her state except in cross Country or marathon and secured at least 8th position in Senior National Championships.

Northern Railway Group D Application Fee 2024 

During the online applications, the eligible candidates are required to pay the following application fee online as per their category:

Important Note: Candidates will receive a refund of a portion of their application fees to the same source from where the portal has received the application fee payment when they appear for the trials. 

According to the notification, the candidates are entitled to the following refund as per the category:

• ₹400 for General candidates
• The amount will vary according to the bank charges for the candidates belonging to SC/ST/Female/Minorities/EBC.
